O Holy Night
O holy night,
The stars are brightly shining;
It is the night of
Our dear Savior's birth!
Long lay the world
In sin and error pining,
Till He appeared
And the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope,
The weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks
A new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees,
O hear the angel voices!
O night divine,
O night when Christ was born!
O night divine, O night,
O night divine!
Led by the light of Faith
Serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts
By His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star
Sweetly gleaming,
Here came the wise men
From Orient land.
The King of Kings lay thus
In lowly manger,
In all our trials
Born to be our Friend!
He knows our need,
To our weakness no stranger;
Behold your King!
Before the lowly bend!
Behold your King! your King!
Before Him bend.
"O Holy Night" is a well-known Christmas carol song composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem "Minuit, chrétiens" by Placide Cappeau, an accomplished amateur.
The significance of the picture above is that baby Collin's Godmother, Auntie 'Lexa, named a star for Collin to honor his first Christmas. We will gaze at Collin's star in the night sky and thank God for the Christmas miracle, as well as the miracle of our precious Collin.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Merry belated Christmas little family.....thanks for the Merry Christmas Text! Collin is just growing into the sweetest boy. Loved the Christmas pictures in the red bucket. He's a very expressive boy....Shaving cream is bad! Candy canes are Good! But then he always was very expressive.
love,
sher
Collin, I looked out at the glimmering stars and said a little prayer for you tonight!
We love you!

Erin and Matt and Collin made it home safely today. They had a wonderful time visiting with Matt's large and amazing family. I can't wait to see pictures, I am sure Erin will update the blog in the next few days.
Happy New Year!!!
We love the star!!! Thank you Alexa!

Hope our boy feels better! According to his mama, he is feeling a little under the weather. (Too bad he can't have some of grandma's home-made chicken noodle soup! :) )
Love and miss you all!
