AWWWW!! He's so cute! The cake looks AMAZING! I am so proud of you, Erin, you really did a nice job. The haircut is adorable and I love his little bouncy zebra. I'll bet he can't wait til he's a little bigger and can climb on that bad boy all himself!

We love you and miss you!!

I don't know how many times I've come back to look at these pictures (BIG surprise, haha) but I love them more every time I see them! He looks like such a big boy while getting his haircut and did I mention how amazing his cake was/is? (EE, I think we need to start an album of all of our "Amazing Cakes"! ha ha) Thank you, thank you, thank you for updating with these pictures!
Love,

FYI, for those of you who didn't know, Collin went back into the hospital today. Hopefully it will be a short visit, helping his villi to heal!

God bless our little family!

You KNOW it, Tam! ha ha If only I had unlimited funds and I could fly there at a moments notice; better yet, fly them here!

Ashley, a little bird told me that you have some great news! CONGRATULATIONS!! From everything I've heard (and seen, in pictures) you will be a wonderful, loving mom. God bless you and your baby-to-be! :)

Please, say a prayer for Auntie 'Lexa as she embarks on her trip to Italy today!

Hi! Found your blog on my "walk through blogland"!
I am an enterally fed adult in the UK and also an ex paediatric nurse so will follow the story if that is OK? Hope you will follow mine too. With love and belated happy birthday! Must remember to get a cake like that this year! Cannot eat anything so painting will keep me busy instead! Take care! Chris

Not much news from the hospital. Collin is doing well on the fluids and he is not getting anything orally, but he doesn't seem to mind. Yesterday he played "Peek a Boo" with mommy and daddy (he would hide behind the metal plate on his crib) and entertained them for quite awhile. He's been super snuggly, which mommy adores. He is also charming all the doctors, nurses and technicians with his good looks ("just like his daddy!" ;) ) and sweet disposition. They love hearing about all of the comments here, so thank you for posting!

Chris, welcome! I am sure Collin's mama and daddy will be interested in reading your story. Collin wasn't able to eat his cake either, not that he wanted to...it felt "icky" to him. :)

Take care!

Lora/Grandma

P.s.- Ashley, we're crazy about babies, so it's always exciting to hear another little angel is on the way. Yours will be extra special and I pray you have an easy, wonderful pregnancy. ((Ashley))

How cute! that cake looks like it was professionally done! Love the photos in front of it, like "what am I supposed to do now?". haha

He's adorable...hope he continues to get better and better every day.

He does look just a little confused, maybe he was thinkin "how'd that rubber ducky get out of my tub?" Hope Collin is feeling better now. That virus is a ###$$$@@ to get rid of.

Prayers for all of you.

Collin went back into the hospital yesterday evening. It seems his body is taking a little longer to heal than expected. They are keeping him hydrated and he'll be there at least overnight again tonight. We'd really appreciate it if you would keep him in your prayers!

Ok, on a downhill on our short-gut-roller-coaster-ride. Collin is on his way home again (his mom and I joke that they should just rent a room at the hospital and ditch their apt!)

Lord, please help Collin's body heal!

I pray that was the last trip! Be strong little one...

I hope Collin continues to feel better and heal quickly. What a shame he couldn't eat any of that delicious looking cake!
Happy 1st Birthday, Collin!
It has been so fun watching your progress and growth this last year.
I truly hope you won't have to go to the hospital for a looooong time, if not ever again!
