Don't those chubby little cheeks just beg to be kissed?!

We have a very cute, very cuddly little grandbaby boy!

I don't know about these claims that he didn't like it...seems to me he's completely zoned out in the pics...kind of like I get in a massage! LOL! What a cutie pie! I bet his little head smelled SO good. I love the smell of baby. :)

I remember being a student nurse and one way they could calm down fussy babies in the nursery was holding their heads w/ the warm water running over them....giving them a little head shower. It was like magic..they'd zone right out. Collin has that exact look getting his first bath. What a gift you guys got to do that w/ him!

Good morning, everybody! Collin is now up to 5.5 mL an hour! Cross your fingers, your toes and any other appendage you can cross...that he continues to digest it all properly. This is the best thing for him now, he can get bigger and stronger on his mother's milk rather than on the tpn/pre digested formula. Every little bit counts.

Have a blessed day! Grandma N

Me too, everything is crossed!

Hopefully soon you'll get him into a real bath, and he'll probably never want to get out!

Collin is so beautiful, I envy all of you who are close enough to kiss him. Has Auntie S been able to see him in person yet?

Big, big hugs to his parents, who unfortunately have had to grow up so fast.

"Collin's First Bath" photos are just ooohhh so precious. He looks like a baby-doll, with his perfect features!

My favorite is the last one.
So calm and peaceful and content... and looking so like a little prince!

As Katie said... "What a gift!"

xoxoxox

P.S. The baby blankets, and the stories behind them, are all so awesome!!!

This was a precious thing to share. Collin is as beautiful as ever. Love the baby fat!

This blog has been a wonderful experience. Seeing Collin thrive and grow under the care of the NICU staff and the love and tenderness of his family is a unique experience. I so look forward to the day that Collin can leave the hospital, and Erin and Matt can experience his "firsts" in their own home. Continuing prayers for his progress and the strength of his family. May the Lord bless and keep you.

Love the diaper covering the privates for the photo. Or was daddy just trying to protect himself from "the Urinator"?
