Please keep Baby Collin and his parents in your prayers. He has a rotovirus and is dehydrated because of the vomiting and diarrhea. Not to mention when his parents brought him to the hospital, they weren't able to feed him for several hours. :(

Anyway, Collin is in the best hands and hopefully will be coming home soon. His Godfather, Uncle Ryan and his girlfriend, Abby, are both in Omaha to visit our little family.

We love you all and hope things improve rapidly, so you can all be together at home soon.

Love, Grandma (Lora)

Collin,
I am so glad you are doing better, looks as if all is well or soon will be. Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Ryan and Abby are all there for you, as well as the rest of your family in spirit. Our prayers are with you as you make your way through this bump in the road. We love you and wish you God's Speed on your recovery and your upcoming trip. God Bless you!

Love,
Nana V.

Good news! Collin was released today and if all goes well in the next two days, he and his mom will be on their way to Tucson!

God bless you all!

Baby Collin is feeling much better this morning and was even laughing and playing with Abby! Amazing how quickly children recover when they are ill.

Our little family is going to spend the day at a "going-away" party for Collin's Great Uncle Danny, who will be deployed to Afghanistan for the next year.

Our prayers will be with Sgt. Nastase as he serves our country. Our prayers will also be with his wife and kids as they "hold down the fort" until his return. Godspeed, Uncle Dan!!

I am so glad to hear that Collin is feeling better. What a trooper!

I will say prayers for Danny as I know full well what that's like. If he would like any goodies, please let me know. I'd be happy to share the wealth and send some goodies over! :)

Thanks so much, Tiff! You are such a sweetie.

We got some unhappy news just now...due to the rotovirus, Collin won't be able to travel until next week. :( There are some very disapointed people in Tucson AND in Omaha right now.

We need to be grateful for all of our blessings and remember to give thanks that we'll all be together soon.

Please, say a little prayer for us and for Collin & his mommy's safe trip next week!

Collin, you keep focused on taking in all those fluids and nutrients! We're all sad that you won't be coming to Tucson today; but we know you'll be here soon!

Collin, we were so glad to hear the nurses didn't have to shave your head to insert the head-iv! Hope the line doesn't yank your hair too much!

We're on our way to Auntie 'Lexa's CCD class and will have all the children say a prayer for you!

God bless you and your parents!

Collin should be out of surgery now; he had to go in and have a temporary central line put in due to the failure of the i.v. that was originally in his foot. The procedure isn't very difficult, but they do it under anesthesia.

God bless you, Collin!

Praying for Baby Collin and his parents as they deal with this. May his recovery from this illness be quick. Also praying for his poor grandparents whom I'm sure HATE being so far away from him (and his parents) all the time, but especially now.

Ha ha, Erin, nice one...blame it on hubby! :D Tell him he's forgiven, after all, if it wasn't for his keen eye, who knows when they would have seen that the vein blew out?! "Doc" Simmons can do no wrong, in my eyes! ha ha

Can't wait to see the new pictures, although I am sure they will be heartbreaking.

Tam, you're right, it's hard to be so far during a time like this. Your first reaction as a grandparent is to want to jump in the car and drive straight to them! (Unfortunately a 23 hour drive isn't that practical!) Hopefully they'll be here soon and I can pamper and love them in person.

Thanks for all the prayers!
