**Update: Collin's feeds have increased to 14 mL an hour as of yesterday! With all of the excitement of his daddy coming to visit, we neglected to add that detail here. Prayers for Collin's continued success with the feeds.
As promised, here are more pictures of Grandma N's trip to Omaha in early May. The weekend was a whirlwind, but it was wonderful. Collin gets wheeled around the hospital in a big, plastic "stroller" that most five year olds could fit in comfortably. The first picture is of him snuggled in it, on top of a bundle of blankets. He seems pretty happy with the ride! (Does the "giraffe" blanket look familiar? It was made for Collin by one of Nana V's co-workers in ND.)
Grandma N was able to take Collin's mommy and his Uncle M out for a fabulous Mother's Day lunch at one of her favorite Omaha restaurants, Greek Islands. The conversation was hilarious, the food was delicious and best of all, Grandma N got to spend some quality time with two of her kids. When the trio returned to the hospital, Grandma got to spend some time with her beloved grandson. They read a couple of books, one from Collin's loving Grandma MaryJo and talked alot about growing up and being healthy. The following are pictures of Collin's beautiful Mama, sweet Collin and the three at lunch. Grandma N looks VERY goofy, but proud! lol

Grandma N, you do look proud! Uncle M looks just like you. Collin gets cuter and cuter and so does his Mommy! Glad things went well and can't wait to see more pics.
Grandma N, you are a model grandmother/mother. I hope to be JUST like you when I grow up! ha ha
I can't wait to see you in August and meet your wonderful husband. Until then we'll keep up with you on your blog. We pray for you and Collin every day!
Love,
Michelle
BIG NEWS!!! Collin's daddy is flying to Omaha to visit for a week! Woo Hoo!!! I am so happy for them, Erin is giddy like a school girl and I am sure Matt is giddy like a school girl, too! lol (I can write that because I am sure he is too busy to read the blog right now!)
He finally gets to meet all the family on the N and R side...what a bunch of crazy, lovable characters! Matt will fit right in.
Hello?! Hello?!
:tapping microphone: Is this thing on?!
How fantastic that Daddy is getting to come visit! I'm sure that will be an emotional reunion. I'm glad that things are progressing.
I know the familiies are busy and so much is going on, but I really miss the inspirations, bible verses and loving thoughts from the families. It made me feel hopful for baby Collin. Thank you,
Sara
Hi Sara, you are right, everyone is very busy right now with end of school year stuff I think.
I know how comforting the words in the comments sections can be; I know Erin and Matt read here regularly (probably not Erin since she's made it to Omaha) and so do most of our family. We all have found comfort in the many prayers and kind words YOU all have shared. Thank you for keeping Collin in your heart, we love knowing that other people care about him as we do.
Daily prayers are being said for everyone. God bless Colin!
The Johnsen Family
