Saturday, April 14

Talked to Collin's Mama earlier...he now weighs 6 lbs 10.7 oz!! He has also been elevated to 4 mL of breastmilk an hour! Woo hoo!

The surgeons and NICU staff have scheduled a meeting to go over Collin's care and prognosis for this coming Monday. God willing, they will give Collin a referral to UNMC in Omaha. As always, your prayers and good wishes are appreciated!

*Special prayers* going out to some special angels who have been praying for Baby Collin and now need our help. Our beloved friend "L" has a sister who has been diagnosed with cancer and will have HER patient meeting with her doctors on Tuesday and beautiful Jasmine, a little girl surviving cancer who has just completed yet another round of radiation. God bless you all and your families!

The difference between the new pix up now and the old pix is amazing. Collin may be little (for now) but he is thriving and SO ALERT!!! Those eyes go everywhere!

Hugs to all of you.

Prayers for Grandma's friend too.

That is fantastic news about Collin gaining even more weight! I hope everything "goes through" - both through the intestines and through the referral.

Prayers for Collin and his family and prayers for your friends who need some help too.

take care,

Auntie Marsha

Gramps N. in Omaha thinks the blogsite is so neat and how do you guys know how to do this? He loves that you all do it and is impreessed with your computer knowledge. I say a rosary everynight for Collin. Keep up the good work. Maybe Collin will be in Omaha by June 29 and July 1 for Michael's graduation and our 45 anniversary. We can hardly wait to see you three and Lora and Chris and 2 girls. Love, Great Grandpa N.

We are praying that the trio is home in Omaha soon, it would be such a blessing if they made it home and were able to celebrate your 45th wedding anniversary with the rest of the family! We love and miss you very much, Mom and Dad.

I, too, love the poems! I know there are at least two people who are probably writing poems for or about Collin who don't post them...please don't be shy! :)

The big meeting is tonight. Please keep us all in your prayers!
