Thursday, April 12

Collin is still on 3 mL of breastmilk and doing great. His Nana V sent him some wonderful books, which we read to him this afternoon. He smiled the entire time, loving the bright pictures.

Here are some fabulous pictures that were taken on Baby Collin's first Easter. Enjoy!

Dear Sweet Collin,

Seeing you, mommy & daddy is a true gift. I find your cute polo outfit simply adorable. I recommend that everyone clicks on the pictures and see up close and personal...Collin's many personalities. He is a glorous gift from God.

Mommy said you got a new cast on today...2 down...4? to go. Mommy likes the Mother Goose book, it was one of her favorites when she was little. Daddy liked the firefighter and the Daddy Loves You book. I love buying books and can't wait to send more.

I am looking forward to seeing...soon!

God Bless You and give you strength.

Love,
Nana V

He is growing! His little next-crib neighbor is the same age, but about half his size. He is now growing too long for the "preemie" nightgowns, too.

Thanks, you guys, for coming to "check him out".

Jan, the "Why I love Daddy" book is precious! I thought that the words were perfect along with the animal babies with their daddies to illustrate it! (Especially touching was, "Daddy protects our family" and "My daddy is strong.")

Erin, I think that Collin looks just like you as a baby...especially in the last photo! Your mom will remember the picture I am referring to...the one with the wild hair. If I can dig it up I will put it on the blog so everyone can see the adorable similarity! Love you all and I hope you are having a great morning.

How nice for Erin and Matt that they're parents and stepparents can all get along so well. Erin and Matt, I hope you know how lucky you are! You are all so amazing. The pictures are so nice to look at, too. Erin you look even happier than you did in highschool! Congratulations to everybody.

Oh my GAWD, Lori, you look exactly as you did when we were 16! I can't believe you are a GRANDMA, but you're obviously doing a good job. Your daughter is GORGEOUS (both, actually) and your grandbaby is a doll. Congrats and looking forward to seeing you in August.

It was so nice to see all the cute blankets. Granny N was especially happy to see them. Of course she had forgotten about the one she made Erin (her 1st grandchild) 20 some years ago. They don't call me old for nothing/or great grandma. Collin is really gaining weight. That's teriffic! Erin and Matt, since you will probably be in Omaha, you are invited to our 45 anniversary, Mass and dinner following. Only family will be there. Can hardly wait to see Collin and you both. Love, hugs and kisses
