December 2008!!!

Auntie Mallory is soooo cool for letting me open a Christmas present before Christmas!
Collin! Stop feeding Max!!!
Yummy, chips are my favorite!

This picture should be last! He was mad that he had to come in, it was -20 outside!!!!ahhhh

Weeeeeeee!!!!
Collin was walking around and around saying brrrrrrrr...

Collin loves to play in the kitchen, Mommy doesn't love it!

Mommy's two favorite people!!!!

Collin in his favorite pj's!

The many face's of Collin...
Daddy getting Collin!
He's "standing" on his head!hahahaha

Stuck...AGAIN, under the table!hahaha

opps, I fell!hahaha
Hey, Mommy! Stop laughing at me!!!! (Collin was telling me No, No, No)

Whoa!haha

The trailer only holds up to 23lbs, Collin's 28 and it's his new favorite place to sit. Crazy boy!!!!
Okay, I 100% believe that these Dr’s are on Santa’s knotty list this year!!! So, after their attempt at scoping Collin and the small bawl series the hospital had managed to make Collin sicker! He’s got C-diff. Anyway, we started treating the C-diff about a week ago and he’s doing amazingly well! I decided to give myself a doctorates degree and change everything we were doing with Collin as far as his feeds go. He is now getting 500mls of 1/4NS over 10hours at a rate of 50mls an hour. Guess what! No more dumping! He wakes up like a normal toddler, not covered in poo and totally happy…okay, so sometime he’s still a total bear but we all love him!hahha I’ve taken him off tube feed with the exception of nap time! We put him on feeds for as long as he sleeps (which is about two hours) at the rate of 75mls an hour. He is like having a “normal” toddler with a few extra chores to do a day. This week has been amazing; no problems with dumping, no problems with dehydration, and no problems with not wanting to eat!!!! I may not have a true MD degree but I’m good!!hahahahaha That may have been a little much, but you get my enthusiasm!!!! Hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! We love you!!!!

Wow! The pictures are amazing and I am so glad that he's doing well. It's never too late to go back to school, Erin!! ;)

I can't believe how big he's gotten in just 3 months...it kills us to not be able to see him. He looks so comfy in his new Browns warm-up suit & all his other cute clothes! And does his toy room look like a child's dream room, or what?!

Thank you so much for the update...being able to look at his pictures as he grows is the next best thing to actually being there!!

Merry Christmas, Simmons family!!

Sometimes parents know more than doctors as to what works for their kids. Stick with whatever works. So happy to hear that he is doing better for Christmas. Miss you all!!

Never doubt that "mother knows best"! You have grown so much and gained so much experience. No one can know your son's reactions and needs better than you. Besides, they're just "praciticing" medicine you know! :)

SO glad that Collin is doing better!

Happy Holidays!

Amazing that poor Collin has to play with all Mom's plastic stuff from the kitchen. I noticed he didn't have any toys. Love, GG
